 Types of AJ

  • Expedition

An expedition is a journey with a purpose! In an expedition the primary focus is on the journeying.

  • Exploration

An exploration is a purpose with a journey! The focus is to observe and collect information relevant to the purpose, where only one third of the planned activity is spent on journeying.

  • Adventurous Project (Gold Only) 

An Adventurous Project is usually suited to those over 18 years old as it tends to require more innovation, creativity and challenge. Discussion with Coordinators and State/Territory offices is required for approval.

Whatever your ability, the Adventurous Journey gives you the chance to experience life as it should be - raw, challenging, extreme, amazing!

 

Trekking, canoeing, horse riding, adventuring - you name it!

One of the defining parts of The Award is what you'll learn about not only your mates, but yourself! It's an exhilirating experience!
