We rely on volunteers to run The Award program, and to help our young people achieve their goals. Each Award involves the following people:
- State and Territory Offices
- Licensed Operators
- Award Leaders
- Award Assessors

State and Territory Offices
Every State and Territory has an office which is the central point of contact for Running The Award. These offices give out the handbooks and support the Licensed Operators and some Award Leaders. They also run special projects.
Licensed Operators
Each State and Territory office licences “Operators” to conduct The Award program. These Licensed Operators can be schools, colleges, tertiary institutions, community organisations, service, sporting or social clubs, companies, or a group of interested parents. It is through these Licensed Operators that The Award is run.
