"The opportunity to change young lives, and as a consequence, alter and impact the social direction of communities and nations is something to endorse, support and celebrate.
The Duke of Ed is an inspirational program that continues to grow as a positive force for young people in Australia, offering them direction, positive self perception and the ability to discover their potential.
I would like to acknowledge the amazing level of support we receive from our Duke of Ed community around Australia.
Without our volunteers, who offer guidance and mentoring to our Participants, The Duke of ed is only a concept.
Without our Ambassadors, sponsors and supporters, we would not be able to reach as many young people as we do today.
And without the dedication of our Participants, both past and present, we would not have the opportunity to offer such a fantastic program that truly offers experiences to last a life time.
Of course, w always have room for more supporters, and I hope that you can be inspired to take the challenge and pledge your support - whether through becoming a Licensed Operator to run the Dukeof Ed, through becoming an adult volunteer who coordinators or assesses young Participants, or through becoming an Ambassador and sponsor so we can grow The Duke of Ed within all our communities.
