You don’t need to wait until you’re 14 to go on an Adventurous Journey! Get involved in The Bridge Award and you can explore caves and beaches, go fishing and indoor rock climbing and get recognised for it!
Bridge is an award for Queenslanders aged 11 and a half to 14, giving you access to a wide range of opportunities during the award and providing the perfect lead-in to the internationally recognised Duke of Edinburgh's Award. The Bridge Award is also suitable for young people over the age of 14 who, due to special circumstances, are unable to participate in The Award.
The Bridge Award features two different levels, Level One and Level Two. Each level consists of four sections that ensure you get a well-rounded experience.
The sections are Skills, Service, Physical Recreation and Adventurous Journey. These sections are the same as The Award to ensure that Bridge Award holders are ready to take the next step.
