AUSTRALIAN CATHOLIC UNIVERSITY

 The Award is now offered at ACU, St Patrick’s Campus, Fitzroy

 

Where do I register?

You need to register through the Community Engagement (Rm 108A, 3rd Floor, A1 Main Campus Building, St Patrick’s Campus).  There is a registration fee.

 

How do I do my Award?

You may know the Award from school.  If you don't this is what you need to do:

 

 - Register (through Community Engagement)

 

 - Choose appropriate activities for the Sections

 

 - Choose an Assessor for each activity.  They need to be over 18 and more experienced in the activity than you and not related to you.

 

 - Set a goal for each activity

 

 - Do the activity

 

 - Have the Assessor write a report on you after the time requirements have been met

 

Once the five Sections have been completed, hand your book to the Coordinator at Community Engagement, who will send it to the State Award Office for approval.

 

You will be notified of your success in due course.

 

DEAKIN UNIVERSITY

 The Award is now offered at Deakin at the Melbourne Campus at Burwood, Geelong Campus at Waurn Ponds and Warrnambool Campuses.

 

Where do I register?

You need to register through the Award Coordinator who is part of the Careers and Employment team  at each campus.

RECOGNITION OF YOUR AWARD AT THE UNIVERSITY OF MELBOURNE

If you complete your Gold Award at the Uni. while you are a student there, it may be recognised on your transcript of results (the process of this happening is still under discussion)

You need to register through the LIVE Unit. (Level 2, Baldwin Spencer Building, Parkville Campus).  There is a registration fee.

 

How do I do my Award?

You may know the Award from school.  If you don't this is what you need to do:

 - Register (through LIVE)

 - Choose appropriate activities for the Sections

 - Choose an Assessor for each activity.  They need to be over 18 and more experienced in the activity than you.

 - Set a goal for each activity

 - Do the activity

 - Have the Assessor write a report on you after the time requirements have been met

 

Once the five sections have been completed, hand your book to the LIVE Unit, where a final assessment will be made.

You will be notified of your success in due course.
